One year, the range of the s amd p 500 over the last 93 years is a gain of over 50 %. But by the time you get out to the fort all the forty year periods since 19 28, that range narrows to eight point nine on the low side and 12 point five on the up side. So yes, i think we can predict better for the long term. It doesn't mean it's going to be good, but it will fall within range that is much narrower. And the same thing is going to go for one day at a time.
