Fremont, he did not feel that he was entering into a suicide pact with everyone else who had voted for him. He also doesn't think Barry Goldwater thought that if John Kennedy got reelected in 1964 that the country would end. The essential work of both parties now is to delegitimize the majorities of the other. It's really wrong. They should not.
