The poll tax levered to pay off the Scots army and seriously miffed people. London was increasingly flooded with out of work soldiers, they became known as Riformados. They blamed Parliament and the members of the Junto for their pain. Curvously, a substantial guard was placed on both houses of Parliament for fear of a riot.
