Is There a Need for More Contributors?

The python team has over 14 hundred open pull requests. The problem isn't even that, you know, you need more people to actually be able to produce value. We need people to evaluate the value that we're already getting from the community and from each other. And i've been on a mission to kind bring the number down correctly.
