Scientology

Businesses love to be able to claim they're supporting a good cause by doing a thing they would do anyway. But in terms of cults, I think that it's very rare that they do the move of presenting themselves as trying to help the entire community. You know, Scientology, I think they miss the boat on that, making it all about the individual. Yeah. Like they showed up at Katrina and gave E-meter readings and shit.
