George Skangos: CEO and Director of a Biotech Company

George Skangos was the CEO of biotech giant Biogen until 2016. He says he left for personal reasons and to bring continuity to the company. After leaving Biogen, George became the CEO at a new biotech company called Vere Biotechnology. The company focuses on chronic infectious diseases like hepatitis B, tuberculosis, and HIV.
