Children love to be part of the random. It's like a suspense. What is the words that are going to come this week? Will I know it? Will not know it? But it's a more playful thing. An Oklahoma science teacher, grade seven, he said, he told the kids on Friday, we're going to study rocks next week. He said, kids never plotted for rocks before. Why did they apply? Because rocks kept coming up on the quizzes. They wanted to know. And so individual children, often write their name on a shape, a feather shape, or, you know, when they have an all-time best.
