LZ Granderson: We destroyed all the deterrence that the police enjoyed. He says it was a political act to make Trump look either racist or incompetent and couldn't control the level of violence in American cities. LZ: It became an acceptable thing to attack the police, so now you have a situation where there's a lot of people who are coming out of the woodwork firing on killing police. They're doing it besides their evil because they feel that ultimately they will not face a sure arrest, a sure conviction, a sure incarceration.
