The Importance of Practicing in the Schoolhouse
The Marine Corps is brilliant at a couple of different things, well, more than a couple. It picks great people as recruiters and they become incredibly important role models. They're people's first interaction with the Marine Corps. And it used to be even in the Army, under certain people or under certain leaders, that you know your best, your most promising officers, most promising NCOs were sent to go instruct at the schoolhouse. That makes total sense. I've never had a leader hesitate answering that question.
