Diogenes' Definition of a Human Being

Diogenes thought it was silly to be preoccupied with abstract philosophical questions. He lived inside a bath tub and sometimes some of the cynics didn't bathe, right? This is an artificial convention. Why should i conform to it? So in that sense, he's talking about do things that are natural, that don't involve artificial contrivances either.
