Counting in Twenties
French numbers are derived from celtic languages. welsh also uses a mixture of vigecimal and decimal numbers. We discovered that those friendly foes across the channel, not happy just totting up in tens, also count in twenties. And we learned a fun new word, starting with v and ending in egecimal accordion music to the ears of loyal listeners everywhere - or so we thought.
