Can a Secular Person Hope or Is Hope Fundamentally Religious?
I think completely secular people who do not think of themselves as religious, not just capable, demonstrate that kind of hope. I mean, I come out of a religious tradition, but I think I'm a bit of a antinomian in that tradition, or a Kierkegaardian. I have no certainties, but I have hopes about things beyond the tangible and seal.
