How to Choose a Brand of Beer
Most pubs in the UK are sponsored by a brewery, meaning that they have kind of ownership of the taps. So you would only have a Foster's Stella Artoir or a Carling as an option. But now I love these hoppy crafted ails that are micro breweries. A micro brewery is a small place that makes beer and it's less industrialized than Heineken. If you want a lager, a Cronenberg, that's very easily found in a British pub, but it's not English. You're allowed to taste as many beers as you feel like you can have in an ice cream parlor. They'll happily give you a taster of maybe probably three beers
