Lester Glick died in 2003 but I spoke with two of his children. He was a very thin man until he got out of the starvation experiment. It's clear to me that daddy's relationship with food and with his body was utterly and completely disordered and changed by the starvation Experiment.

But like many of the other volunteers, he said he would have done it again in a heartbeat. Revisionist History explores the scientific legacy of this experiment, and asks whether it’s time to reimagine our understanding of sacrifice.
