GPay's Relationship With Banks

Sajit Sivanandan quit Google and joined the streaming platform Disney Hotstar. GPay India has been operating without a head since his departure in September last year. A former employee told us that GPay always thought of itself as a peer to peer or consumer payments company and did not pay enough attention to merchants. The decision to partner with multiple banks is now coming in the way of GPay's progress.
