Steiner thought it was the time now because materialism was coming so strong that everyone needed these types of concepts not just some elite class who could sort of use them against the general public. Steiner joined became the general secretary in germany and then broke in um i think 1913 and made his own group and changed some things but he still kept this line the whole time about what he wanted to do.
