The Power of Batteries

When we're in a world with lots of wind farms and solar, they're all driven by inverters. They're taking a DC current and making that alternating current for the grid. But what we're also finding is that's where batteries become really important. So some of the money that the batteries make isn't just buying power cheap overnight and pushing it back into the market at peak time. They're actually paid to help the grid remain stable.
