The Importance of Religious Infrastructures in Violence
The discussion of the book really revolves around, you know, I go on idolatry and in fact structure and all of those aspects. And I think the contributors have really brought out different perspectives. The chapter by Tommy Wilkes who wrote about parts of the Kibera neighborhood of Nairobi being bulldozed in order to make place for a bypass road. It shows very nicely and interestingly, how religion is much more than ideas alone.
