Is the Fed Going Back to Zero in QE?
The Fed started raising rates at the beginning of 2022, it was responding in part to an explosion in the Bitcoin price. It is possible that it's part of the game theory here that the Fed wants to look at their own reputation and say, I'm not just going back to trillions in QE. "I've made an effort to defend my reputation here over the last 12 months," he says.
