You Got More Than You Went For
3 years. 1095 days. Freddy had counted all of them. He would have counted a salary too if he had anything to count. But there was not. Not until Freddy asked to leave. The sheriff cursed and punched the wall, but in the end, he'd handed over three pennies - one for each year of employment. Three pennies were literally more than he had ever held in his entire life. Still though, 1,095 days were a lot of days,. A lot of errands, and a lot of lectures from the sheriff. Mostly yelling.
