There's great talk of translating the Welsh act, the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act into a UK act. Scotland announced it in its manifesto for this year's elections and has now allocated a green MSP to oversee their version. Countries such as New Zealand, states and Australia, provinces in Canada, Iceland are already looking at this. And there is a slow and steady movement in the context of taking the legislation forward within the Westminster Parliament. It's still being done through a private members bill, which means it's not been adopted by government yet. But there is increasing interest in government.
