University Transformations and Accountability

This chapter examines the significant changes in university ethos over the past fifty years, revealing issues of accountability and educational standards among faculty. It critiques leftist ideologies' influence on academia and the tenure system, proposing reforms for improved responsibility and performance in higher education. Additionally, it highlights the financial inefficiencies within universities and calls for a re-evaluation of the curriculum to regain public trust in the value of liberal arts education.
