The Echo Chamber Effect in the Offline World
A professor at the University of Bergen has done some kind of grand study of Facebook use in Europe. He says his research indicates that there are no echo chambers, or there is not. The writers institute for the study of journalism at Oxford comes to a similar conclusion looking at Britain. We live in societies where we have neighbors and colleagues and we talk to them.
