The Crusades and the Spice Road

The Crusades and their aftermath is next, although the Dark Ages Mage Rulebook talks about crusade activity in the Holy Lands. The cities of Jerusalem, Nazareth and Bethlehem are controlled by Europeans, but Muslims are allowed to visit. We're told many domains in Western Europe were left in the hands of regents so some areas see an easing of pressure on Old Faith mages while some have greater problems with bandits. Storytellers are told they can take liberties with history and use it to send players on distant journeys.
