Why Isn't Eating Meat Morally Wrong?

Even if we could prove once and for all eating meat is morally wrong, pretty much everyone who does it to day is never going to pay a price for that moral transgression in any way during their lifetimes. Most likely, they will die having eaten meat their entire lives, no problems. Think of the power of these criteria we use.
