Congenital Insensitivity to Pain
Mutations in the gene that codes for these ion channels, of course each ion channel will have at least one or multiple genes that code for that particular proteins. So mutations in that particular gene can lead to congenital insensitivity to pain. This is a rare but kind of weird and disturbing condition at least to me in which you still experience normal stimuli from touch or from cold and vibrations to look like that. Some adaption is normal but there is no sensation of pain and also typically liking as any response to the pain.
