The Impact of AI on Growth
Sally Kohn: It's impressive how much smarter people are on average now than it seems they were 100 years ago. She says given that, you should expect this flinnaflect to slow down. The relationship that scores on IQ tests seem to have been going up over time is called "flinnaflect" This could be because the bottleneck wasn't how many ideas a researcher could get access to, but something more tightly connected to limitations of human brain.
