Are You Politely Saying No?
I encourage people to ask anybody can ask for anything, but unfortunately I'm just too busy for that. If you give people any reason at all for why you're saying no, or if you've just given them this connection, you've closed the loop and made a connection in this relationship that now exists. So I don't think that you'll go to hell for ghosting people. But I think that if somebody is making some kind of reasonable request - especially like Joe's request -- say yes.
