Magan: I don't want to do all the work that is required to research invent these type of investments. That doesn't mean they're not a good idea for some one else. But i agree with steve hoffman that you want to invest in something speculative such as angel investing with a small percentage of your assets. And even though i'm kind of a boring investor, and i stick with publicly traded e t f and mutual funds principally,. i have five % of our family's investment portfolio that i might go out on a limb.
