Is There a Global Parallel to Air India?
Air India historically has not had a good performance and reputation for reliability. If you're not basically reliable, punctual and not cancelling flights, you don't have anything else to offer. Of course, there have been historic losses as we need to get a grip on these losses. It requires a clear financial focus on the cost of the operation. Having this fantastic order announced is of course really good news. There are wider challenges of infrastructure, airport congestion, surface access. That requires the political will to work with the airline.
