Is the Number of Teenagers Prescribed Antidepressants Going Up?

The number of teenagers who have been prescribed antidepressants has gone up from maybe 2.5% to 35 or 40%. It would be conjecture, wouldn't it, as to think about the reasons we are reporting that we don't need to conjecture. The pharmaceutical journal data NHS data obtained via a freedom of information request released on the 10th of August 2021 actually indicates the prescription of antidepressants had increased by 40%, coinciding with periods of lockdown.
