How to Ask for Cookies in Spanish
There are more than 900 nunneries in Spain and about a third of them make and sell sweets. According to the culinary legend, the nuns of the convent San Clemente in Toledo invented Marsapan. You can also find cloistered cookies in Barcelona, Sevilla, Avilla and Granada. The Ferre de los Dulce deas Munja is held every year in Salamanca but none of the nuns go.
