The National Security Establishment Is Distracted Right Now
Congress is essentially sovereign, it controls your government. We're in a period of international history where we were slowly moving towards a possible conflagration and God forbid that Iran goes nuclear. I can kind of understand why the national security establishment is distracted right now. And they don't want to have to account for the fact that they've been lying through their teeth about recovered technology.
