The Different Patterns of Numerals and Quantifiers

In ancient Greek, for example, demonstratives have to be used with the article. So either overtly or it's clear that the contemporary demonstrative pattern started from demonstrative plus something and then sort of that squished together historically. Numerals and quantifiers typically, you know, sometimes count as determiners, so often pattern differently. But those are the main ones I can think of.
