Antioxidants Aren't Bad for Adaptation to Exercise

There's this ongoing debate about our antioxidants beneficial for adaptation or not. Aubrey de Grey thinks that everybody should be taking mega doses of antioxidants to keep your mitochondria working properly. In certain situations, if you're like the soccer players in the study undergoing 90 days of intense training, then you may benefit from dietary antioxidants. Astisanthin combined with exercise did better than the exercise group alone with a placebo.
