Language Teachers: The Importance of Full Understanding
When we don't have full understanding, our competence is gone and we're going to zone out. Think about how many words you use when you go to those foreign countries. Teach them the stuff that you use and talk normally, but just in a much slower manner. So it's nothing to do with dumbing down the content. That's really important.
