The Relevance of Local History
I would pick up on that and add to it really that exactly what you're talking about there of relevance. We absolutely mustn't keep the children just to their local area. That would be a disaster for any curriculum. You can literally Google the things that were found and you can refine it so you can find those archaeological finds in your area. So whilst you can still have an enormous national picture you can look and go don't forget these people we're here now where we live.
