Is There Any Time for Critical Distinction?

Liberalism is like a constant fending off of the fear of decline and a constant imagining of a world conditioned on all sides by crisis. So all you can ever do is act. And there's no reflection, no the capacity for the thing that liberals always say that they do well,. which is reason and dialogue and listen to people. There is only this current moment over and over and over again.
