Shomer is a professional skeptic. Jieb Matt, as highlighted with the lab leak, he is very reactive to discourse,. And that is what I think this is an illustration of, is that heuristic in effect? So yes, everybody reacts to new information and seeing some article that they find persuasive. But professional critical thinkers should know that their initial reaction needs to be contextualized alongside existing evidence if you want to do it properly.
