The right hemisphere has the wholeness of things. The last hemisphere is about reducing things into its just this mental grasp of reality that cuts out the whole. But separation and distinction are no use unless they form the prelude to a later, greater union or synthesis. And as this sense, the right and left hemisphere, yes, need one another. We don't want the division of union and division.
