The Importance of Charity in the Economy
Lane and Rand disliked it because they thought that Haslett has a few lines in there where he suggests that charity is like a moral requirement. They both rejected that idea, but I think Lane and Rand's criticism of that particular page of Haslett's book is merited. And although she admitted the importance of the bourgeois virtues, she didn't really spend much time talking about them. The heroic virtues are things like building skyscrapers. That's what Rand wanted to write novels about.
