Is It a Dragon or a Yolan?

In the cosmes, ben speculated that it's yolin. But i don't think a frost leaves yolan, as far as i know. I'm still wondering if it is actually yolan that they're on - or cognitive yolan. The only description we have of the scene early on where the traveller returns and the tiny, pure white leaves clustered along branches like skeletal limbs,. Everything is white. Tree limbs seem to hint at yolan. So are they physically in the exact same place? And is that place somewhere real?
