The Importance of Medical Necessity and Clinical Documentation

Part of delivering ethical high quality care involves appropriately documenting that very care. In this lecture, we talked about the impact that medical necessity and clinical documentation can have on our clients and on ourselves. We also explored six questions that you can ask yourself in order to help separate the wheat from the chaff when documenting notes.
