The Path to Gnosis in Magic
Some magicians use the word gnosis in a multifaceted way. The inhibitory path can be achieved by silencing the mind, Zazen and other techniques. And then the excitatory path is reached more by working the mind up into a hectic state while focusing on the single objective,. This can be done through intense emotional work, physical pain, exhaustion via drumming or dancing., overloading the senses, chanting & sexual excitement.
