The Effects of Surface Type on Tissue Demands

The idea is that when you push off the sand it doesn't respond back. So your muscles have to work a little harder do a little bit more work so sort of applying force over the greater displacements because you're not getting anything from the ground. When you whenever you're you're pushing into the ground with your foot to propel yourself forward, the ground is highly responsive and pushes back pretty much immediately on you. The thing, the low hanging fruit there is talking about how demands change depending on surface type.
