The Conservatives' Demise in the by-Election
The Conservatives lost their seat in a by-election held last night. The result was the first time they have failed to win an election since 2010. David Warburton, who resigned over allegations of sexual misconduct, denied them. A senior conservative councillor said he thought that this may have played a part in his party's defeat.
