The History of Abortion in the United States

The idea of a right to an abortion is more of a 20th century late 20th century idea that right but the practice of abortion was widespread and i mean some really great work of historians has also showed that even after those laws that criminalize abortion the laws were not widely enforced. There's a lot of evidence from the late 19th century and from the 20th century of widespread american acceptance of the idea that people can end a pregnancy particularly before quickening.
