Sallin: It all depends on the culture. If it's cultural, you might want to really say, am i in the right spot? And managers sometimes were brought up in the old system of what sales is even though they may be too old for them. The logic of it is, does this approach work? Or does the approach you're wanting to use work better than the manager's approach? I think there is a logical argument to be made that you can make where we know it doesn't.
