In Colorado, when can you ask for an officer's business card in a traffic stop? Well, you can always ask. That's free speech. But I believe that the law says that when the officer does a traffic stop and does not issue a citation or a ticket, then the officer is required to provide the business card. Do you know if that only pertains to traffic incidents or is it just on the street if they approach me on the sidewalk? I don't know offhand. Okay.
