The Importance of Chronicles in the Kingdom of Israel
Jeffrey Toobin: There is a special emphasis on the southern kingdom in chronicles. He says people are going to be hearing stories that they'll say, "I thought you read that already," and that's chronicles. The second thing that I would just emphasize is the importance of liturgy, he says. And so when we talk about liturgies at this time in Bible history, we're talking about sacrifices,.
